Notice is hereby given that ‘Local Planning Policy DP11 – Transportable Buildings in Residential Areas’ is revoked. Council at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 16 September 2024 resolved to revoke DP11, pursuant to Clauses 6 of the Deemed Provisions of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015. The revocation of DP11 has been on hold pending amendment of Local Planning Policy DP07 - Residential Development Requirements. The new version of DP07 consolidates provisions relating to transportable buildings in residential areas into a single policy. These provisions remove the need for DP11, but it has taken time since the September 2024 OCM resolution to advertise, technically review, gain the necessary approvals and formalise the new version of DP07. This is the reason why there has been a passing of time between Council’s September 2024 resolution and this revocation notice.
